The IEM 3DP Core generates solid three-dimensional models of patient anatomies from clinical scans, such as MRI and CT scans. The material composition, functional properties, and feature resolution of the resulting models may all be readily tuned to meet the specific needs of the clinician. The 3DP Core specilializes in the following four applications:

  1. Clinician education and pre-procedural strategizing;

  2. Patient communication;

  3. Surgical research; and

  4. Simulators and medical instruction tools.
